Sometimes looking on facebook marketplace gets me annoyed. For example, here's a Levi's skyfall jacket for $100. Seller is not interested in shipping, and I don't live anywhere near Arizona. Finding a jacket and having it so (relatively) close, but not being able to buy it...awful feeling! I hope one of you guys lives nearby and can get this, even just for the flipping value.

Assuming you are talking about THE Satan, he and his followers post over on the Inferno Lounge. Heard they really know how to find some hot deals over there.

@jonesy86 you might want to consider the leather shorts for use in Hawaii. Pair up nicely with the GW. I’d keep your fedoras though.

That's not RMC. It's women's jacket to begin with. I think it's Hein Gericke actually.
Definitely knew it wasn’t RMC. Didn’t know who it was. But I’d still wear it. I suddenly have had an urge to look like I live in 1600 or 1800 America.

See those sleeve ends? Looks like a bungler shortened them. Leather looks low quality.

This particular seller sells a lot of crap. I've seen him selling fake RRL and fake Californian sportswear. I wouldn't buy anything from this guy.

To be honest I didn’t look at it all that closely. I don’t really pay attention to most of the Japanese sites or pages. I looked at the basic design of the jacket for maybe 5 seconds. Said hmm cool and haven’t looked again. I mean good to know info so thanks. But I had 0 intention of buying it or ever looking at it again haha. But I will keep this sellers info on file in case I ever do come across something I may be really
Tempted on in the future.

It is tricky because this particular seller offers both fakes and the real deal. Usually bad stitching and cheap looking leather are the most obvious giveaways.

And the leather clearly looked cheap on this one. Like I said didn’t look long enough or hard enough at the stitching or particular design elements on this one to notice anything else. Just the general design. I’ve been looking at some suede, roughout, and deerskin jackets lately and just thought the generic design of this jacket is something I would wear. I’ve gone through the TFL looking glass. For years I only wanted and owned black cross zips. Then I tried a couple G-1s. Now I’m rocking a cream 70s deerskin. A suede trucker from 5Star, a blue Navy repro deck jacket. You hang out around here long enough and your entire wardrobe changes. I will for sure remember this seller though. Since I may be tempted by something real of theirs at some point. I wouldn’t want to contribute money even on a real one of theirs if they are also selling fakes. They don’t deserve it.

I tried contacting this seller before because they are listed as local to me, to see if I could look at a jacket they were selling in person. They never responded.

Interesting jacket. I've never seen a two tone roadstar before.

Zipper placement is different from mine.

Maybe this Rebbel roadstar is a 'long' version. Or maybe Eastman changed construction details over the years. I know they did on their Californian. The newer ones have the collar attached with French seams for instance.

I guess I really am a jacket nerd, noticing these details :)

Apologies for a possible repeat question (not sure if this is in a dedicated thread already)...
Has anyone purchased the pre-owned items advertised by reb_bel? Any customer experiences?

I asked them about a jacket once. Was shocked how much they wanted considering it was a no name brand coming from China or where ever they are located. Was better off buying a used Aero here.

Any history on older Held jackets from Germany would be appreciated. Did a search on here and could not easily find anything. Just curious how their older stuff compared to other stuff being produced in Europe at the time.
