What was agreed on sharing auctions? I've seen an interesting Golden Bear, but I don't want to screw with anyone.

my opinion only, but I think you post. If we only going to put stuff on here no one else wants, what's the point? Most people who are actively looking for a jacket are probably doing the same searches, although on several occasions someone has posted something that wasn't on my radar and I actually ended up bidding on.

There was some discussion about this not too long ago. I had posted an auction toward its closing and someone from TFL had already bid on it and nearly had a heart attack LOL(fortunately they got their find). Based upon that discussion, I am only posting auctions that...
a. have a BIN option
b. have yet to be bid on
c. have a $0.01 starting bid and bids are still ridiculously low, ie $10

If I am off base, someone please straighten me out. I can see where it kinda stinks when someone has put in a lot of work searching for something, finds a great deal at auction, and then loses out at the end of the auction when a post starts a bidding war.

It’s not really a huge issue. It’s happened once or twice. It’s more when people are actively or have in the past expressed interest in something and then have it sniped away. If you think it’s something that a member really wants or has said they do, always good to check with them. Shoot them a message. But most of the “complaining” here was sarcasm. Most of the members were just complaining to be funny or for the sake of complaining. I wouldn’t think too long and hard before posting or bidding.
