It's tough with Harro if you ain't sure. Harro had like five in-house styles, like Buco or Brooks had, that were set in stone for a good decade and a half, maybe more. After they've either changed management or have been bought out, they began producing that colorful junk which IMO isn't worth anyone's attention.

You could order any of the main styles with details you wanted, pocket placement, etc. but it's very simple to tell which jacket belonged to what pattern.

Later Harro is a mess.

That’s good to know. I did notice that the labels on the colorful Harro were different. Like the jackets, a bit over the top.

I do like the jackets that are styled in the same/similar way as the one I posted. Different, still maybe over the top, but not peacocky.

That's a good Harro, yep. Once you get better acquainted with the brand, it's easy to spot what to look for. Their best jackets are very, very stylish and super cool but without any nonsense. Some elaborate stitching here and there but everything done in a perfectly balanced manner. If you find such a jacket in that best leather ever they've used... I seriously don't know if there's anything cooler out there.

Thanks Kubatu. Smaller sizes do seem to be uncommon on US sites - looking at some Japanese proxy sites now. I know that my chest and shoulder measurements are 33-34 inches, and 17 inches respectively, so I have a pretty good idea what to look for in pit-pit and shoulder measurements in jackets. A lot of the size 36s I see tend to be closer to a true chest size 38 more often than not, sadly.

I think I saw a size 37 Cal padded racer on Ebay, maybe even in these classifieds.

but yeah, you'd go broke on buyeejp doing the Yahoo auctions. You just need to know how the jackets fit because I wouldn't trust the measurements over there.

Caution on this one - there's cracking on the leather and some other wear not shown. I'll upload pics in a second.

JMax gave me the heads up on this one in October since I had been looking for a Cal. I asked for more pictures, and the images included this:

There's a cracking circle mark on the sleeve, and also the sleeve zipper has some odd stitching going on, almost like the leather split there too and was stitched up. I ended up passing on it since I didn't really want to get anything with leather in bad shape. I have some other pictures showing general wear if people want them, though. This is the older Cal's that had crazy nice leather.
