I agree, use eBay to your advantage, not to enter into battles you can not win with the abyss

I've become so specific and some might say anal in my questions for sellers. Particularly with measurements. I have taken to sending multiple pictures instructing the Seller how to measure properly or at least--how to measure what I am asking for. I've noticed that the more detailed my instructions, the more some Sellers just refuse to answer. But what literally amazes me is that I will send pics on the basic measurements and some of these people STILL get it totally wrong and refuse to measure as instructed.

My Pet Peeve is when a seller has a tagged size and just interprets a size 46 for example as "Chest-- 23" doubled"..... totally half ass. There are several jackets STILL for sale-- a couple have been re-listed for going on 2 years now because the Seller is a moron and can't seem to follow the most detailed instructions on measurements. I also have some of these people who will post photos of their measurements and claim Chest size is 23" for example but I can literally see that their tape is overhanging one side of the jacket by like 2-3 inches. Cmon man!!!!!!!!! Any job worth doing is worth doing RIGHT!!!!!!!!! Just take a couple extra minutes and maybe you'll actually SELL your item!!!!!!!! Crappy measuring by seemingly disinterested Sellers chaps my hind parts!!!!!!:eek::eek:

Beautiful and Small..... but unique and in great condition. I own so many Cafe Racers...... I'd really like to come upon a nice Shirt Collar version like this. Not a bad price for the apparent condition either. Smaller fellas----check this one out!!!!!
Did you see these? Both in good apparent shape, and with thick zip-out liners intact. I haven't seen this Brooks design often.

24" p2p, and the zip-out liner'll take up a good portion of that

is this the one Terry bought on Ebay the other night? Wonder if she didn't take down her other listing. And provides some of the craziest measurements, but not the all important ptp that we all seek LOL. It seems like a 20 ptp though.

it is a good deal. I paid $200 for mine in the summer and was able to sell it for the same price used a year later.

That said, the Ashby has those silly brass buttons and rayon sleeve lining that leave your arms covered in sweat. Beaufort or Bedale are really the ones to go with. Border on Moreland for serious outdoor wet weather work.
I heard the bedale had the same issue with the sweat no?

what's the deal with these Levis buffalo truckers? TFL worthy? This one is probably too big for me, but want to be ready in case I see something at a good price. Most seem to be selling in the $400-500 range so this looks like a good deal assuming there's something to see here:

Levis Buffalo Leather Mens Trucker Jacket Black Large Authentic | eBay

I don't know about the Buffalo version but the 2018/2019 cowhide truckers that they had were honestly at the level of mostly anything I've seen. Heavy, superbly made (better than Vanson that I had), perfect proportions. They were about $500 or so in a store here but for once since I've been paying attention, totally worth it. One of those cases where I wouldn't know what to answer if someone'd asked me what benefit would investing into something higher-end bring.

I hear that. I found a thread on TFL about this jacket. It seems the ones with the snap buttons actually had a thicker leather, or at least that's what a few people reported. I've seen some of the vintage ones (maybe 80s or so) with beautiful patina, but in those cases, you want the button hole version. So hard to keep track of this stuff LOL. Anyway, looks like new these newer ones were going for about $300 past year or so.

I think I remember seeing posted on here there was a particular Gap or Banana Republic one that was considered sought after as well. Need to do some searching. Anyway, I've got enough for now. But can never look away from what seems like a deal LOL.

I'd honestly just get the new Levi's leather trucker, instead of the old one as the hit and miss ratio is too risky. I've had some good ones but also a few jackets that were abysmal and neither had a really great fit like the 2018 version. 90's Turkey made jackets were great for the most part, though.

That was Gap I think but it's lightweight. But yeah, they used some really nice looking leather. Kind of something Brooks would come out with back in the day.
