I agree, use eBay to your advantage, not to enter into battles you can not win with the abyss
I've become so specific and some might say anal in my questions for sellers. Particularly with measurements. I have taken to sending multiple pictures instructing the Seller how to measure properly or at least--how to measure what I am asking for. I've noticed that the more detailed my instructions, the more some Sellers just refuse to answer. But what literally amazes me is that I will send pics on the basic measurements and some of these people STILL get it totally wrong and refuse to measure as instructed.
My Pet Peeve is when a seller has a tagged size and just interprets a size 46 for example as "Chest-- 23" doubled"..... totally half ass. There are several jackets STILL for sale-- a couple have been re-listed for going on 2 years now because the Seller is a moron and can't seem to follow the most detailed instructions on measurements. I also have some of these people who will post photos of their measurements and claim Chest size is 23" for example but I can literally see that their tape is overhanging one side of the jacket by like 2-3 inches. Cmon man!!!!!!!!! Any job worth doing is worth doing RIGHT!!!!!!!!! Just take a couple extra minutes and maybe you'll actually SELL your item!!!!!!!! Crappy measuring by seemingly disinterested Sellers chaps my hind parts!!!!!!
