ty. Different brown, but I can always play with that with some coconut oil or something. Many thanks

Edit: I scooped it up. Thank you, Terry. I'm down the rabbit hole so to speak. Should be fun.
I had one in that same honey caramel color and it looks great up close, especially with the purple sheen lining. I'd still have it if it hadn't been too small. You might be pleasantly surprised once you see it. FWIW, a Brooks in that color doesn't show up as often as in other colors.

Congratulations on the pick up.

ah fantastic. cool to know. yeah, so hard to tell with photos. I'll give it a fair chance for sure, see how the leather is and all that. Depending on how it fits and what kind of shape it's in, I'll probably give it a water dunk and let to dry in a not too hot place. I got some conditioner that doesn't darken too much like Smiths, and then when doing black or just don't care about the color, I use a coconut oil/beeswax blend that darkens a shade or two. It fades back slowly, but never quite all the way back. But part of that is that if the leather was dry, it's sort of an unnatural color anyway.

This is more of a find than a deal, and even then, I think it seems a bit hideous, like a weird combination of a fur coat and a leather jacket. Still pretty cool to look at, though.

I agree with the above on the Brooks. This is a nice colored one, a heavier leather than that early racing shirt I own. I've got several Brooks videos. I've not watched any in a long time. I owned a few. I thought the one I posted was a great buy if you needed a 42. You don't see this combination.

Out of curiosity, what's the difference in the gold label and these:

Different era? Different line?

Different era. The classic gold label Brooks were replaced with the red / black label in 1978, which is still in use today. Strangely enough, from what I've read, many people here feel like the red and black label Brooks are a better quality, although some of the really recent stuff may be less liked. Despite that, the gold label has a certain character to it, regardless of worse stitching, crappy faux lining, and so on.

^^ these two are my thoughts as well, not up to what they offer now. Generally don't see much for any Theidi's "used" for sale. I suspect there is a reason for that...

TBH, both of these Thedi jackets are pretty ugly. First one looks like a part of an drunk dude at a flea market somewhere in Eastern Europe uniform and the second jacket could've been sold by Urban Republic.

Harsh, but it's definitely true that Thedi are making much more stylish jackets these days.

Color is off, and so is the stitching and side adjuster straps (holes?). Plus it is sized M...could be an LVC Einstein copy...

Yes, thought as much when I saw the roller buckle side adjusters (I think even the Cidu people would've used something better than those though.)

The pockets, corduroy and labeling all seem based after the Mister Freedom Campus so maybe thats what the seller meant.
