Do you guys own any lancer leathers? any pics?

I wish. A few years back a guy I used to ride from time to time with popped in wearing one. It was nice. I hardly ever see them for sale. This guy lives in Albuquerque, where maybe they are more common. Years before that there was one for sale on EBay that I didn’t buy for some reason. And more recently a satin-twill one.

I checked his other sales - the guy takes vintage jackets and paints generic/fake biker artwork on the backs. Too bad, because I love the patina on some.

He is doing his clients a disservice. Man, I’m sure many in that world would just laugh and move on, but the first one who takes it more personally…

The patina is incredible though. I’d risk it.

If artificially aged, then it is a pretty good job. I have a Kurland just like that, naturally aged.

This aging and marbling is very much how a Lesco Brown ages.....

I had the Steerhide Californian that has this look, but it was naturally worn. So I understand it can happen, but it is rare. It does have the cool look, but I suspect it has had help! The sleeve zippers look like Talons used through out the 50s into the early 60s. Can't determine the main zip.

Interesting work.

is this the answer:
