Vanson x Left Field Commando in CXL. Size M. I suspect it'd go for 400 GBP. Maybe not a steal but a very low & realistic price for a jacket that's all but easily obtainable, especially in Europe.

I know for sure I don't have what it takes since it's a women's jacket.
I'm not so sure about that. Of course, it doesn't help that the jacket is displayed on a female mannequin.
I asked for measurements and they match those of a regular size 40 (unless the jacket was custom made for a big woman with very wide shoulders and monkey arms): Ptp 21 1/2, Sh 18 1/2, Sleeves 25', back 23'. Except for the color and absence of belt loops, it looks pretty much like the one @technovox has for sale: https://www.thefedoralounge.com/threads/taubers-vintage-horsehide-crosszip-motorcycle-jacket-40.99564.
Real issue for me is the color. Not sure I cold pull it off.

I dunno, it just screams women's jacket to me, from the color to the shape and everything. If the back is 23" with the extended, curved kidney panel, that'd make it 21" long at the front and that's at best. I really don't believe that's a guys jacket.

Yes- there are some similarities. But mine has belt loops, and this one has an attached belt tab. Another difference is mine has epaulets. And of course, the leather is much different- looks like cowhide. My understanding is that the jackets with the earlier Taubers label used horsehide, and the ones with the later version of the Taubers label used cowhide. Probably a later variation of mine.

Even at BIN price, it's a bargain.
Only drawback is the short sleeve length.

I think the sleeve lengths should over 22, since compare side to side with the 25.5 a average back/body length.
I may purchase this, but need a decent leather expert to repro this

Admittedly, not a great way to confirm, but I just measured the back, shoulders, and sleeves of the jacket in the front image and then the back image, worked out the proportions, then figured the actual shoulder and sleeve lengths based on the listed back length, and got the same results both times. Assuming the back length measurement is correct at 25.5" and starts at the base of the collar, then my own measurements of both images worked out to be 18" for the shoulders (an inch under the 19" listed) and 24" for the sleeves (straight down, not around the outer curve).
Measuring should be a science but unfortunately it's really an art. I'd ask the seller for a remeasure. And pictures of it.

Agreed. 24" sounds about right. Cut the sleeve from the image of the front, rotated it and pasted it on the back photo. I don't believe the sleeves are 22" long. They'd definitely be shorter than the jacket if that was the case.
