I suppose deal is a relative term...but for this gray heavy cow langlitz, I think the term can be applied traditionally...probably one of the coolest of it's kind I've ever seen (and I'm not a huge fan of the pattern).

Nice. It's got a newer label on it. But at that price, one might be better off just going the custom order route directly from Langlitz.

Yeah, 1k USD for a off the rack Langlitz with unknown history? The Cascade is 1k new full custom from Langlitz, 1,1k in brown leather.

This one is gray actually and I don't think they'll do anything in heavy weight anymore? Last I inquired they had just a bit of brown left. Maybe I'm wrong but I don't think you can touch a custom langlitz for less than $1.5K (conservatively). The pinstripes are custom up charge as is the yoke I believe...I checked their site...no price list and I lost the catalog.

You're right about the heavyweight leather, if the leather above is actually heavyweight.. it's not like that ebay seller has seen the order sheet, it's probably just heavy in comparison to what he usually sells. Doesn't look overly thick to me on pictures.

My last years catalog of Langlitz had the Cascade at 1000, plus 100 for colored leather or goatskin and maybe some little upcharge for the pinstripes.. that yoke is standard on all Cascades I have seen so far. Jacket doesn't have custom pocket set-up or any other extra cost option Langlitz offers.

I've eyeing that Langlitz as well but I think it's an inch (2, doubled) too tight at the waist for me.
