I THINK I have an early Excelled Sponge Bob Square Pocket Half Belt.......... My id basis is flimsy though as I am basing the ID on that cheesy short rectangular generic Genuine Horsehide tag. Its a pretty nice well made jacket with a corduroy lined inner collar and storm cuffs. I also have one Excelled Cafe Racer from the 60s and its not nearly the same quality as the Half Belt. At some point they made quality stuff and then eventually pivoted to the more mass produced stuff they make these days commonly referred to as crap.

Lewis Bronx going on eBay here. Be interesting to see what this reaches. Small size (38" chest), but looks in nice condition. Leather gone from some of the front buckle - common on these. Notably, this is a first half to the Sixties model, so not only no logo patch on the chest, but no forearm zip pocket (first introduced with the Twin Track Bronx in 1966, and rolled out across the range thereafter). That forearm pocket quickly became something of a Lewis signature, though for me it always looked a bit cluttered - nicer, cleaner, without it.

For anyone interested in current values, this went for £557.97; pretty good deal given an original is nearly a grand now.
