My autocorrect changed "got" to "for" lol

This was my mock jacket, I sent it to a tailor to make it into a reversible jacket. My previous post didn't show?
Ok. And Donna should be Dena, or is it Donna? Sorry if I missed your previous post.

I just did something... Now my mock jacket is a jacket haha

Actually, 2 jackets

I've used the reversible Conmatic zip, courtesy from @photo2u, and sent it to Donna Howard, from Horizon Leathers, to add some leather accents (Shinki Pony scraps I got with my jacket) and made a reversible side out of Harris Tweed. Really like the result

Super cool jacket. Love them reversibles. You‘ll most likely get more out of this one than its leather cousin for sure. Congrats.

Are there any more in-the-wild pictures of the Type II? I'm coming around to the style as it might be more practical for me to use in the bush...if I could get a longer Type II made, 27" or 28" inches, it would be perfect for all seasons wear, as then it wouldn't ride up and leave me exposed while working in the woods...

Feels like synchronicity that he make my next jacket!
That probably depends very much on how much time you want to give yourself. I don't know exactly what the current waiting times are, but I think > 18 months, with the potential for it to be longer.
My second thought (although of course it's up to you to decide) is whether a field jacket with premium leather is the right jacket for your use and whether something robust like Vanson, Johnson, Lewis etc. wouldn't be better?
But as I said, it's up to you to decide.

When I ordered in July, Sam quoted 10 - 12 months. This was also before they brought on another employee.

They quoted me 10 months and said they'd try to deliver earlier. Took them over 16 months
And then didn't use the zips I sent and that they told they'd use because "they didn't have the time".

Just had a look on the website. For some jackets there is no indication of a lead time, for some 10-12 months and for the Murawski Trucker 12-14 weeks. Strange.

In the meantime, you probably have to pay the full price in advance:
‘Please be aware that full payment is required for all orders (standard or custom) at the time of placing the order.’

But the best thing is: ‘Cancellations can only be accepted within 24 hours of placing the order.’
Normally this should be possible as long as nothing has been done for the jacket. At 10 - 12 months, there is unlikely to be any action before month 9 (except perhaps that a certain leather has been ordered).

At Aero, the cancellation was possible without any problems as long as the jacket has not yet been started.
