We met up with this lovely lady and her fellow yesterday, they are getting married next February and Tina is making her wedding dress. She has had a rollercoaster life and I am so pleased that she has found someone to love her and treat her for the lovely lady that she is. This was taken at another wedding a couple of years back, I had no idea that my hat was a talking point. She is delighted that I will wear a hat to her wedding.

Enjoyed seeing your weekend travels, Cuz. That's a beautiful area.
Thanks, Cuz. Been having a blast.
Nothing like being in Nature's church, Dale.
100% correct, sir.

places to play in and pray in,
where nature may heal and give strength to body and soul."

Hi
Well, we didn't go to Rock City back in the 1990's because it cost too much. I should go sometime, I mean I spent my childhood reading SEE ROCK CITY signs on barns across the US. IT looked great.
Later
I hadn't been since I was barely old enough to remember. It cost $22 to get in the place (plus $6 for a slice of pizza and a coke) but it was worth every penny.

Visited Dubrovnik in late October. So much incredible history! (see my "what are you reading" post.) We had glorious weather and it was actually warm enough to comfortably swim in the ocean. Wonderful. Walking the old city ramparts, we were dealing with glaring sunlight and 80 degree temps. I burn easily, so the hat was a real lifesaver.

My fishing trip on the Smith River didn’t work out due to lack of rain (the river closes to fishing if the flow isn’t high enough). I salvaged the trip by taking my wife on a pre-anniversary trip to Brookings Oregon, Crescent City California, Arcata California, and Eureka California. I went to college in Arcata and we lived in Eureka when we got married.

I work around Yosemite National Park, but the coastal Pacific Northwest gets my vote for the most beautiful part of the country.
