That is one of the funnest pics I have ever seen!
Maybe I will pull out a 5" brim today and see how it holds up under the weight.
Wasn't there a thread about the structural integrity of Joao's brims, snow load specs, etc.?
That video is great... it shows the upward convection that makes lake effect snow. Dan, good thought. Maybe I will pull out a 5" brim today and see how it holds up under the weight.

Buffalonians approach adversity with good spirits, but the humor is wearing thin for many.
Ahh, memories...I can honestly say I don't miss the shoveling/snowblowing part, though!
Here is a photo published by ABC News from West Seneca. This is about six miles from my house, which has received 6 inches of snow so far.
The weekend melt (it will approach 60) and the possibility for structural damage is a major concern.
...What a mess this is gonna be when it does melt. shakeshead
They commented on this on the news earlier today during a report on the amount of snow that fell on Buffalo (New York), saying something to the effect of, "You can bet flash flood warnings will go into effect once all of this snow starts to melt."The weekend melt (it will approach 60) and the possibility for structural damage is a major concern.
