We spent the weekend at the Old Sacramento Waterfront on the Sacramento river
At the Capitol Building, I'm the guy on the left.

Q39, Kansas City.
No hats were harmed at this bbq, don’t worry!
I have never been to Kansas City, and I have never had anything close to this kind of bbq. And I am kill-myself full right now. Wow.
I know exactly what you’re feeling right now! We spent the weekend in Garland TX. Garland? Why Garland? My daughter and her husband (Mississippi boy) moved there a couple of years ago.Q39, Kansas City.

I wish I had known you were going to be in town. I don't live in the city but the drive is not so far that I couldn't drive in & buy you a drink. Q39 has two locations & they're one of the best, but there are many more. Are you on vacation or playing music somewhere?I have never been to Kansas City, and I have never had anything close to this kind of bbq.
. Can't be Joe's KC. Looks like One of the Smokehouse locations or KC Masterpiece? When are you leaving? I just got in after being gone a couple of days, but if you're going to be around the rest of the wk that drink is on me.I couldn’t go home without trying another infamous bbq joint.
It's cowtown country. Nobody gives it a second thought. And it's the Green Lady for jazz, Knuckleheads for blues. Try Juleps for handcrafted cocktails & 200 kinds of whiskey.Nobody stares when you wear a real hat in KC. At first that felt weird but then I decided I definitely prefer it that way. Many others wore hats of various styles, but none of these jazz cats at The Green Lady did.

Please do!I’ll let you know next time I come down, and take you up on that drink...
Guardando bene Daniele.I was a few days, very few indeed, in a place near the Tonale Pass that divides the regions of Trentino Alto Adige and Lombardy
With our friends who hosted us, we took long walks on paths of varying commitment, some easy, others were really challenging
We stopped at high altitude pastures for some sandwiches
I am attaching some photographs of the alpine landscape and one of your truly without a hat,
with a bandana to shelter from the air of high altitude.
It didn't work so much, I came back with a bit of fever and my throat was on fire.
We got up to Mezzocorona in Teroldego wine country, but that was in February and still pretty cold. I always thought the Teroldego and Lagrein reds were terribly underappreciated.I was a few days, very few indeed, in a place near the Tonale Pass that divides the regions of Trentino Alto Adige and Lombardy
