Sounds like a wonderful time Jack. Great images.Made it to Cheyenne Frontier Days (CFD) & back home last night with my Ritch Rand Tom Mix Natural Beaver no worse for the wear. Besides time spent with good friends the highlight of the trip had to be the rodeos with the PBR & the CBR Championship bull riding events. Also attended the PRCA steer wrestling & bronc riding events.
Afternoons were spent at the Western Art Show, CFD Old West Museum, Indian Village, & shopping in Old West Frontier Town. Late night hrs were spent mostly in the Old West Saloon listening to cowboy stories, music & poetry. For those who prefer loud music & dancing there was the Buckin' Horse Saloon which we sampled for just a bit.
Cheyenne was Herradura country (must have a good distributor). I drank my share, but I'm ready to cap off an enjoyable wk with some Mastro Dobel Anejo I bought a while back for just such occasions.
Have a good weekend!
Daniele, thank you for these beautiful and interesting images. Truly a treat for the historian in me. Keep them coming! The processing of gold was particularly developed in Taranto in the centuries before the coming of Christ and the testimony is given by the jewels you see
What you see on the left is a rock crystal worked as a jewel with gold thread
These jewels belong to a funeral outfit found in Canosa di Puglia in the north and were made by the Dauni, the population that lived in those lands four centuries before Christ. Following some small statues. Notice the very "art deco" shapes of the last two
Following your truly under the arch of Trajan of Benevento, magnificent work we will talk about soon
Finally a Roman allegory, in stone, which I liked very much

Not sure this is ethical , but its probably the most missed Guy and daughter pair on FL . They should be paid for this review ...
Fantastic, Mike! Finally getting some images processed from our weekend in Seattle. We went to Patty's 35th Reunion of her AFS German Exchange Student year. It was also Sea Fair! We all had a great BBQ on the shore of Lake Washington and watched the US Navy Blue Angels perform. Spectacular day!

Thanks Doug...your old stomping grounds!Fantastic, Mike!
I do like that color Brent. Have not been to Mariposa, looks like my kind of tourist town.Downtown Mariposa with gold rush era boardwalks. Full of tourists on their way to Yosemite National Park and one civil servant on his way to work in a marine blue Agnoulita.
