I'm on my second myspace account. I shut my original one down then decided against it. Mostly I have it as a way of beating the system. What the heck does that mean? Well here at the radio station our program director is a control freak with an exteme ego problem. If it's not his idea it doesn't fly. Everything that goes on our station's page has to be screened first. We submit it to him and if he feels the need he takes the liberty to change and add to things in our blogs for example. So, I'v boycotted my own station's site and I now post any info I need to on my myspace account! lol

I've added some of you, some pages won't load for me. I use myspace mostly in a marketing capacity, but I also have a blog fairly dedicated to a woman who's estate I aquired that came with a treasure trove of letters & cards written from the 20s through the 50s, snapshots, catalogs, magazines, newspaper articles....letters from soldiers & the wives they left behind during WWII, some great letters from her Mom visting Miami while troops were training on the beaches (during the mandatory black outs).....some of her book reports from the 20s....her wedding ensemble, newspaper article from 28 about the wedding and her gorgeous invitations. It was all going to a dumpster, so I rescued it & have been trying to document what I've had time to read.

Anyway, thats where it is. I'm way behind on updating it. Maybe this is the kick in the pants I need to get back to reading/documenting!

And as far as marketing there, don't worry......I'm not a fan of the bi-weekly animated sparkly mammoth advertising comments that jam up pages. You may get a bulletin now & then about what I have listed, but thats it!
