Fantasy Vehicle

There's too many cars out there I would love to have but I've narrowed it down to a few, all Packards. The National Packard Museum is located in my town (Warren, Ohio. Where the Packard automobile got it's start) Hope to own one some day but it'll probably be a Clipper. Not much chance it'll be one of the ones below, hence the "fantasy".

Had to figure I'd want a rail vehicle of some sort...

After much debate, I decided I'd most wish for a Lehigh Valley Transit 950-series car, from my old home region. They're all gone now, but boy... a double-ended lightweight steel streetcar with automatic acceleration and speed to spare (for a city transit vehicle, anyway)... that'd be nice, alright. Bonus if I could fit a generator underneath without ruining the aesthetics.

Second wish would be rubber-tired, but still electric: a Marmon-Herrington trackless trolley (electric bus) from Johnstown [PA] Traction Company. Again, preferably fitted with some efficient, non-intrusive onboard generator set.

Munster Koach

It was made from 3 Model T bodies and is 18' long. The 133" frame was made by hand, as were the brass radiator and fenders. It has "blood red" interior and Gloss Black Pearl paint. It took 500 hours to hand form the ornate rolled steel scrollworks. The front end had a dropped axle, split radius rods and T springs. Its design featured a custom hearse body.

It says in the text Designed by George baris, It was not. It was designed by Tom Daniel but built by Barris.

A 1930s Jaguar SS 100. British car design at it's best! This actual one lives somewhere close to us and I saw it in person a few weeks ago. Only change I would make is to have it in racing green or a dark burgundy. The grey is a little Germanic for my tastes, if you know what I mean!

Roll on winning the Euromillions, I say!

I have no practical use for a car, living in central London, but I do have a licence and the idea of being able to afford to run a car as a hobby thing is quite attractive (it would facilitate that low-budget, semi-improvised road movie I've wanted to make for years....).

I'd kill for a 1933 Pontiac... I plan on buying one when I can save some $$!

If I could have something like this that looked vintage no the surface but had the guts of something like an XJ6 underneath for practicality's sake, that would be cool. I think there are a few kits on the market like that.

I liked that too. That long nose would be hell for the handling, though it looks a breeze to reverse...

My vote for fantasy vehicle would be Capt. Nemo's car from LXG. Or any Aston Marten from the early sixties on.
Unfortunately for me it's about as likely to happen as Nemo's car.

My mom had an Aston Martin Lagonda in the 80s like this one:

I never understood why everyone loved that car. I personally thought it was uglier than sin.

Although previous models were lovely

I never understood why everyone loved that car. I personally thought it was uglier than sin.

Although previous models were lovely

This is what my mom drove, right down to the color (minus the little gizmo on the luggage rack)

Ours was in nicer shape, but was a pretty typical middle-class car at the time, but a relic today lol
