Very cool. Makes me think of Indy or the Mummy, although the covers look 1800's in apperance. Funny to think that times have changes even in a culture as ancient as Egypt since they were taken.

Re: "Newest Styles for Men"

Wow!
Thanks for the post!
Amazing how so-called "well-dressed" mens styles have
changed.
Especially the prints of "leisure suits". Wow, today that would
be considered over-dressed by most people. The guy in the second row,
on the far right, looks about a thousand times better than
anybody I know who golfs.
Thanks again. Great reference/resource.

Interesting to me is that when topcoats are shown, the handerchief has moved (or is additionally placed) to the topcoat breast pocket. Interesting also that suits are two or three button, and vests are shown with and without lapels.
I think it would be worth the trouble of learning to sew better in order to make some of those suits.
Yesterday, I visited the only local men's clothing store for the first time in an age because they had amazingly turned up in a search for sources for Bill's Khakis. I was very surprised to see some of this year's summer shirts. They were very 40's looking. I was really thrilled to see the two-tone polo shirts with wide collars that I would only expect fo find as vintage clothing. They were shown as golf wear. I'll be going back to pick some up. Bill's Khakis is also doing an "event" at this same store next month.
