The trilby moniker is correct, but if I recall correctly, they are also referred to as "stingy brim" fedoras as well. There might be something regarding material or patterns that further defines the trilby. Someone here can probably clarify.

Sorry about Diego Rivera, after all he did die in 1957 and is not a comtemporary Hat wearer. FBI connections just came to light a few weeks ago.
