She is obsessed with her denim jacket. She wears it almost everyday. I had one when I was younger and I felt the same way about it.

Yep, I weared mine again today. It's just a smart jacket, if you got really the colour, that you like the most.

In Europe, it begins on storebrand, priced 50 Euro and goes further on S.Oliver, priced 80 Euro, up to Levi's, Wrangler, Lee and so on, for 100 Euro, passing Calvin Klein, priced 160 Euro, passing Dsqared2, priced 500 Euro , going up to Gucci, priced 1.000 Euro.

All mainly the same jacket-basemodell, with different colours and more or less pockets.

Mine got two inner-pockets, the two outer side-pockets and two breast-pockets. Life's good...

I bought hers at a second-hand store for $3. It is Old Navy brand. She will fit into it for a few years, and then we will get a bigger one.

I might have posted this before, but I was looking through some old files this evening. Two of the next generation of Holliday's (my grandchildren Kyle and Kayla) during a visit to see my daughter in the UK a couple of years ago.

I'd taken a blue Borsalino and a grey Whippet on the trip...

This is my precious girl yesterday on her way to school. (Signing "I love you!" to me.)

But then..... this happened last night.

I may have cried a few tears of sadness. I adored her smile before. I'll have to get used to this one.

Oh, and the Tooth Fairy brought her a dollar coin. She thinks it is gold, and she is so excited!

Occasionally I speak of the "kid" in some of my posts. Since this is National Autism Awareness month, I thought I'd post a pic of Jess with one of her buds. The kid looks about fifteen in this pic but she'll be twenty nine this year. She's gone to stay with her dad for a couple of weeks and I'll get several texts over those weeks asking me "what are the doggies up to?" The bond between animals and special needs kids is something remarkable to me.

Happy 33rd Wedding Anniversary to my lovely bride ...

My wife is wearing a hand-loomed, hand-made dress (from a lady in Ozark, MO). I'm wearing the "tux" (morning coat, vest, pants) that my childhood neighbor (a former Congressman) wore to Roosevelt's inauguration in 1933. We're in my 1973 VW Bus getting ready to head to Eureka Springs, Arkansas, but ended up huddling in the closet of our duplex instead as Springfield was hit by a tornado that evening. Not sure if our union caused that ...
