As I work my way slowly through six decades of "stuff", I get rid of lots of rubbish but find treasures as well.

This is my dad's driving instructor car ID card, still beautifully laminated, and dated May 12th, 1967, exactly 22 days before I was born:

They have the wrong year of birth, he was born in 1920, not '21. Not only an error on the license, but also in his driver's license number. In Ontario to this day, the last six digits are your birthday, so above the last are 21 (year - should be 20) 12 (month) and 14 (day).

My Ontario DL issued in 1986 also starts R0265, and ends with my 670603 (1976 June 3rd) birthday.

Fun fact - women's month has a 5 in place of the 0/1 for the month.
