My daughter-in-law graduated from the Police Academy recently. We couldn't be more proud!

Thanks for the comments folks! My mum is still a character, though the short term memory is pretty much gone, the long term is still sharp and she remembers all these events!

Hey, my 93 year old Mom is the same way. She can recall what took place in 1930, but not what she had for breakfast.

She has an enlargement of this in her room in her nursing home. Some of the staff don't believe it's her!

My mum, margaret and her best friend, name escapes me but she'll let me know, modelling the latest ski wear, and cigarettes, probably Players:

My mum's older sister, Janet (Nettie), the only aunt I ever really knew and grew up with. She died aged 47 from colon cancer when I was not quite 12. One of our favourite pics of her, taken mid 60s at my parents' place, I recognize the painting on the mantle, it was in our home when I was growing up:
