Great looking hats, I have two virtuoso from Falcon Park, I waited almost a year for the first one but Parker promised the second one would come in about three months and it did. They were worth the wait.

Received a Falcon Park fedora in the mail today via an eBay purchase. It's Winchester felt, 100% beaver. Color is Sand (according to the seller) with a 1 1/2" dark grey ribbon and a 2 5/8" brim. It has a 6" open crown which I shaped into a 4 1/2" teardrop. The sweat has the "signature wave" in it, as has been documented here, but it presents no problem with actual wear. The ribbon is not sewed to the hat (disclosed by the seller), so that will be a minor fix in the near future. But otherwise, it's a gorgeous hat with a somewhat heavy, but definitely luxurious felt. So much for my commitment to building my collection of staws this summer! These felts keep drawing me in.

So can I call this my "first custom"? Well, probably not. But at a third of the price of a new custom, I'll treat it as such! Just hope it's enough to get me in the FP Club!

Hi, Bowlerman -- In the pic of your three hats, what's the style of the hat on the lower right, and what color is it? Looks beautiful.

I believe that's the "Laird" with a Lord's style brim in black cherry. Correct me if I'm wrong, Jeff. Similar to a homburg, but without the ribbon binding. His is pretty cool, it has a distinct folded edge. I guess you could call it a "Laird" style brim. :)

Anyone have any recent communication with Parker? I have a custom build scheduled to complete this month, but haven't got any replies to my e-mails over the last 2 weeks.
