Mon ami, yeah great for you as a seller. But not so great for me as a buyer. I got scammed years ago on eBay with these IBAN bank transfers(small amounts but anyway...). Good luck cancelling the transaction with the bank if the seller does not deliver. No matter how ultra-mega-rare/desirable the item is I won't do IBAN.
For me as a buyer is simple: PayPal, seller sends the invoice stating what he is selling. I'm willing to cover the PayPal fees. Having such a service mediating the transaction/stepping in is safer for both.
Thx Mihai,
so far I am unsure about which premium jacket makers accepts Paypal to pay for goods (from the over 900 Euro/jacket ...a few accept family and friends maybe ..)
ELC sure does not do Paypal.
Others unsure.
We do 8-12 jackets (all go to Japan) a months and are 12 months behind orders...No Need to accept what we dont want to support in policy... Maybe it may change...but only if PP changes his discriminating one sided policy.
Sold several jackets of all Kind plus WW2 leather gear and Military WW2 watches here and in other forums...without accepting PP...ask around whether ever ever any issue with our sales?
I am happy to accept PP as soon as PP protects the seller the same way it protects buyers. ( for another opinion search and Google Paypal scammers..... BTW most of the French and German Ebay sellers will never accept PP...wonder why...)
Thx for your understanding.

I am not taking Paypal because its a total scammer System for seller. (feel free to Google Issues scamming PayPal etc...)
BTW; I never understood why on this Forum or on a few others where all know everyone...only Paypal...in other words not trusting your Buddy here...Please explain.

But...
I am happy to demonstrate/really play it in real using PP over a small amount and all we will see and communicate to all ..here ...me.. you and the seller reports the Status for buying/paying.. claiming, ... going down the drain...law suits threatened but no way to happen.. etc..... here real life ...with anyone who is happy to sell me something for lets say 20 US$ or Euro or whatever... He will not lose a dime since I take full responsability...even happy to transfer the besaid 20 US$ to the tester upfront...just showing all how bad it can go for a seller accepting PP..
Please try me its a honest offer.
We have a deal TFL Monitors it.
Pls contact and advise.

If someone could explain how a buyer can scam a seller I'm all ears.

I think he is offering to have someone be a pretend seller, and him a pretend buyer, to show you how easy it is for a buyer to screw a seller. I might be wrong though, this is pretty hard to comprehend, ... ... ...

It can be very hard to prove a buyer has received what he paid for and that is what paypal is essentially forcing on sellers with their buyers protection. Reversal of the burden of proof to he disadvantage of the seller. With some ambition, a solid story of lies and some eloquency, a buyer with fraudulent intent can give a seller a real hard time. This already was well-known in the online gaming community 10 years ago when I was a teen. Noone there would accept paypal when selling virtual goods because it was so hard to prove you actually gave them to the buyer. Even gaming companies very often wouldn't accept paypal for their various services.

1) not screwing anyone
2) Showing how a seller can be screwed by a buyer...using PP.
I pay upfront for the 20 US$ Demonstration.
Volonteers?

My question why trusted friends in this forum and other trusted collector forums only deal with PP amongst the trusted friends? ( not talking about me/us)... Paypal is expensive and redundant to other trusted traceable payment system... One example...for selling valuables and luxury watches, never ever any PP...

Easy...
1)I buy..pay...you ship...I am claiming..send back...but in the registered traceble package I put the dirty underwear of my granpa instead of the original L-2A jacket...Delivered...Paypal refunds... (dont laugh..it happen to a famous seller here..)
2)I buy... pay...you ship... I am claiming....send back....and all registered traceable again...etc... Jacket comes back..buyer did swet, puked or vomited in it..,
Thx Paypal great Job...protecting puking buyers..

Over on the watch forums PP is a common method of payment.
Regarding scams - like the one listed above, surely it only works once before PP smells a rat and your account is suspended?

Sorry which watch Forum?
I see on Chrono24...dealing with luxury watches...no Paypal...
Again why amonst forum pals.. friends.. chaps ...brothers...why PP..
WE trust each other? or do we not? "bro" "pal" "friend" most words used here...why then PP..??
Again plenty of legal other ways to pay the TFL buy with no 6% ganster fee
We are all friends...why making a Gangster Institution rich when selling amonst bro´s and pal´s ?
Many time this question came up...but so far unanswered...

www.therolexforums.com - its where I bought my watch......using PP.

'We are all friends'

dude I don't even know your name............
Hi Dude,
happy to be called "Cooper"... and you are? Dude?
the Rolex Forum you listed are private sellers...I refere to business sellers...
Some "friends" still request require PP like here...of course also in some private selling Forums
Try Rolex Omega Blancpain with PP or chrono24.com.
