It depends on the person I suppose. Middle aged? Hey, look at Terry Mitchell! He's one of my favorites in our small world and he always looks very smart and so sharp dressed in his every cross-zipped MC.
Robbie's Freewheelers shown above is absolutely gorgeous MC jacket, badass masterpiece, it looks just fantastic. I'd love to buy it sometime actually.
I mean, some people wear tweed and feel it comfy, the other ones may prefer to wear MC jackets instead, independently of their actual age.
I love people like Terry and always love MC culture incl. bikes, guitars, music etc., but anybody else might love the first - well, that's O'k too.
So, once again - it depends.

Hey Guys,
I still don't have words to tell you how I felt the last weeks from ordering my last /exit leather jacket as I had never tried it on and was just hoping that it fits. I was so excited when I receive the letter from the local customs office that the jacket finally arrived and that it is ready for customs clearance. Almost one more week passed by as I didn't have time to go the the customs office - finally I had an opportunity to go there this afternoon. I guess the customs officer felt how nervous I was when unpacking the parcel in front of him. He just said "another leather jacket for you" as the guy already knows me (funny as I live in a City with >1 Mio people). When I got home I couldn't wait trying it on and admiring it how excellent this piece of art is made! Every stitch and detail of the jacket is top notch and same quality as my Caboose and Sunset! I'm so happy with the rude black Shinki Centinela and fortunately the fit is perfect (in my opinion - what do you think?). I also hope that my wife likes it and doesn't think that I look silly in in. I would say that the Caboose, Sunset and Centinela and Goodwear Ventura are my personal grail jackets and that I'm definitely done with leather jackets now. Here are some pics.

I like this one a lot. Definitely a statement piece and not one that will be for everyone, but I think it looks really cool. Nice to see something different once in a while. Fit s how I see the originals worn in photos - a little room on the shoulders, tight round the middle. c/f Brando (albeit a slightly different style) in The Wild One and the fit of his jacket when fully zipped.

I see what you're seeing - though both of those, the bellhop more directly, are ultimately derived from old military uniforms, which is what this design references more directly. I like that it's so full on, myself; its unusualness seems to have retained a sense of otherness, an edge, that the Perfecto style, for instance, lost long ago. I don't think I'd have one of these as an only-leather, but with quite a few under my belt, I'd love to have something like this for wearing when I didn't care about attracting attention.

It always depends on the wearer, to me it does work independently of bikes, cars, whatever. Of course, it's going to look even more badass when riding a nice vintage bike though)

Would look great with something like a Black Douglas, or a 30s Indian Scout.

As soon as I wear bike leather I look like a superannuated bouncer or a minor bad guy in a Die Hard sequel.

I'm not seeing the issue with that...... but hey, since I was seventeen I've not had a passport where I didn't look like the photos they used to use on the news of provos on the run back in the 70s.... you could be worse off!

When I see this jscket I immediately think of Been Foster as Charlie Prince. To me, that's a good thing because not only do I love westerns and that film in particular (as well as Foster's incredible performance), I loved his look in this film, especially the jacket. Absolutely a statement piece and not forbeverfor , but if you can pull it off, it's difficult to look cooler.

Both jackets have two front pockets either side of the breast panel and the Buco had two rear map pockets

Thanks! I think it works especially well because Charlie Prince is a villain and I remember reading an interview with the costume designer about how she thought it would be so unique to dress the most cold hearted and bloodthirsty villain in the movie in white in contrast the main villain incsll black who actually isn't as evil as Charlie who wears white. Even the costume designer gets into the symbolism of the film and I just love that.
