Hello everybody!

New blog posts are here:
1. About vintage manicure
2. Sunday love story
3. House plan from 1930s

...
and, just out: Yet another post on cycling

:D

I loved the vintage manicure post! I commented and finally followed your blog. Not sure why that took me so long to do. Ha.

I've got a few new posts on my blog. I usually post about once a week unless I am feeling ambitious or am too busy to post. The one I wanted to share features a cute outfit, a sneak peak at my vintage wedding dress, and a cute guinea pig photo.

I have a new blog revolving around a vintage 1958 handwritten travel diary that I purchased at a local estate sale (the original author has passed away). Judy B graduated from university, left America, and toured Europe for two months, visiting many wonderful places and meeting interesting people. She wrote in the journal every day and even noted all her expenses. Along the way she purchased cashmere sweaters, jewelry, crystal, etc. (She must have come from a well-to-do family!)

Judy B has such a sunny outlook, her travel journal is always upbeat. And I love her comments about all the cute young men she meets!

Anyway, I'm just getting started with the blog and if you'd like to follow Judy B on her trip, please join us.

I love reading her daily activities, but what really draws me to this blog is the fact that you've researched and added the extra touches (photos, back history of locations, etc.). I'll definitely be reading every entry! Thank you for all of your hard work on this project, and for sharing it with us!

Oh, yes, she must have come from a fairly wealthy family. As I note on the "About Judy" page, she sets off on her two-month trip with $1000 US in traveler's checks for spending money and yet still ends up asking Dad for $200 more... twice!
