Hi everyone! I'm new to The Fedora Lounge but just wanted to share my blog with you all, it's called The Nylon Swish - www.thenylonswish.com
It's about vintage, vintage reproduction and modern shapewear and stockings which is something that I am extremely passionate about.

Check it out and if anyone wants to contribute, that would be great, otherwise just check it out ;)

Thanks lovelies,
Elinor

Tour de France is so close - with that in mind, HERE is an article dedicated to all the cycling-ladies!

I love the article you posted! In fact, I just got back home after riding my bicycle to a local winery for a summer concert - short distance, warm night, music… two wheels was the only way to go - so your post was especially delightful. Along the same lines as your blog post on women and bicycles, here's a story about two girls, two bicycles and their 1944 East Coast adventure. Authored by Thelma Popp Jones, one of the girls, now in her 80's. It's a bit of a read, but save it to your desktop and peruse it when you're in the mood. The photos are great and it has a happy ending of true and lasting love. The Lure Of The Open Road

If you haven't seen it yet, I just did a really neat post comparing a purse that I own to a purse that Deborah Kerr (and even Cary Grant) carries in the film An Affair to Remember. The link is in my above post, and here: starofthecity12.blogspot.com
