I just checked it out, great post Emily! And I love your blog name, as each vintage piece tells a story!

Today I blogged about lucite, check it out if you're interested: A Lesson in Lucite.

Black Dahlia, I loved your lucite post- found it really informative and interesting. Is there any way I can follow your blog without getting every new post sent to my email in box, do you know?

Thank you for the compliment on my dress btw! Can't wait to get it!

Latest post: Etsy woes... a bit of a rant but might be familiar ground to some of you!

Hi Frenchy! I'm glad you liked the lucite post. ;0 I Hope you post a pic of you in that fab dress when you get it!

I'm not sure how to follow the blog and not get every entry to your email. Does anyone else know? I know it's not something I set, but something Wordpress does automatically. I follow several blogs and get tons of emails...blarg. You could use a blog reader like, Google Reader, to avoid that happening. Or just bookmark the blog. I'm not sure!

Today's post is on Floursack Fabrics. ;-)

Swinggal, I found some really interesting stuff on your blog/website! Normally the 40s is as far back as my own personal interest goes but great to read about 20s and 30s makeup and hair styling techniques. Love love love that bathing suit post too!

New post on the dilemmas of shopping for pencil skirts. I have a hard enough time finding modern clothes that fit, amen to all of you who can find actual vintage that works for you! http://powderkegcompacts.wordpress.com/2012/02/10/the-pencil-skirt-problem/

The PowderKeg, I feel you on that one! I too have an 11 inch difference between waist and hip (which sounds great were it not for the fact that I am a B cup with tiny shoulders), and pencil skirts/high waisted pants are THE hardest thing to buy, vintage or modern. Now that I buy pretty much everything onlineI know my measurements so it saves a lot of the hassle of shopping in person, but it still doesn't guarantee that it'll be right. Just recently I bought a great skirt on Etsy that is too small. :(

Both of mine are in my signature :)
Jack and Betty's House is (surprisingly!) about the house we just bought together, decorating it, getting inspiration and things like that!

Then there's my more personal blog Betty Amazing which is mostly just outfit posts and things - i'll probably use it a bit more like a diary in the future as well as just fashion stuff, but things have been really quiet around here lately!

Awesome blog, Betty. My young man and I have recently renovated a damp and mouldy old flat, so it's lovely to have some ideas shared, especially about finishing touches. My posts about interiors get a bit lost amongst fashion posts, but you never know, you might find some inspiration on my blog too! Oh and CONGRATS by the way! :)

Thank you! I'll check out your blog :) I love seeing other people's projects, it's so great to see how other people have decorated their places! xx

Haha...not Brenda. It's an Australian series. The actress is Essie Davies who is very well know here in Oz. She was also in the Matrix, Girl with Pearl earring and a tonne of other things.

*lol* From the thumbnail it really looked like Shannon Dougherty! ;0

My blog post today is a prize giveaway for lucky follower #54. Vintage gloves and earrings! Spread the word. ;0
