Mine was great! My cousin's friends shot off fireworks in the street! A couple fell over & shot straight at us. :eeek:

Nobody died or was horribly maimed, so, yeah, good day! 'MURICA!

:usa2:

I was in a 4th of July parade with a vintage bike group.

Note the Pee Wee Herman bike

You can tell, some people are just dying to be out on a bike ride.....

(Even some eternal single folks still take to a hankering to take one ride at a time....) lol`!

Tandem bike ghosts in Disneyland's Haunted Mansion. I like how the bike looks incongrously shiny and new.

It has been so very long since a Disneyland trip. Disneyworld is just not the same....and some of us recall the "old" Disneyland....it seemed to be more 1950's in most of the rides and shops that had been there, but now so many are gone.....but the Matterhorn still is one of my all time favorite rides. Yes, the Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean are up there as well.

As I understand it, you need both the Lost Episodes edition and the Classic 39 Episodes edition if you want everything that still exists.
That is correct.
$90 dollars for both?
My wife has paid more than that for shows I'll never watch.
Like The Loretta Young show. :yuck:

Yes, he found it in the basement of the Alamo...DEEP IN THE HEART OF TEXAS. :D
My nephew and niece used to watch that movie weekly, when it came out on VHS.
So I have most of it memorized by now.
And no, let's not talk about Simone's big but...:p

Pirates of the Caribbean has always been my favorite ride at Disneyland, so it bothered me when they changed it in 1997--they placed trays full of food in the wenches' hands so that the pirates would be chasing them because they were hungry, not because they wanted to "have their way" with them--all because one person within the Disney organization complained about it. :twitch: They're pirates for crying out loud, not boy scouts!!! And then they changed it again in 2006 to add Captain Jack Sparrow and other characters from the movies. :eusa_doh: :frusty:

One of my major complaints about Disneyland is how rides such as Pirates of the Caribbean, The Haunted Mansion and the Peter Pan ride have become much darker and dimmer to the point where you can hardly see a thing. I think the reason why they dimmed the lights like that is to defeat cell phone cameras.

Here's how long it's been since I've been to Disneyland: My wife and I got to the ticket booth, and had a discussion about whether or not it was worth paying $33 each for admission. lol A "1-day ticket" is now $96 for anyone 10-years-old and older.

I've never been to Disney World or Land, and honestly have no desire to go to either. If I want to go somewhere with a completely distorted sense of reality I go visit my family. Way cheaper.
