That must have been the hairstyle of the day, they all have it.

Here are 2 other women working on cars from that time period.
You'll recognize the first one, because she's in the picture of the 4 women we're discussing.
Although the caption says she's laying under the car, I think Grace is actually working on the engine of the car in both pictures.

This is her, Grace Wagner.
Here is a shot of a woman and her work shoes, they did wear heels.

They are for real HD...

BTW here is a link with great pics from that period, including the ones I've posted.

Well, at least ya'll stopped talking about cars.

We were talking about women AND cars.
So we diversified the conversation. ;)

The Mark II is a nice car, but I'm just stuck on the III.
Can't say why, but I definitely don't want the IV. A neighbor had one when I was a teen, and in the carpool with her 2 sons. Dern thing broke down on an icy winter day, because the woman was running EVERYTHING in the car, and overloaded the alternator. My 2 pals and I had to push that worthless piece of crap uphill (on the ice), and then go back and get the car. :D Kidding, I really liked that lady (RIP). The car was underpowered and poorly engineered, but the III is not.

I dunno about you and your 70s fascinations. lol lol I can see you crusing that Mark III wearing a leisure suit with a huge butterfly collar, high heeled spectators shoes and a big cheesy porn moustache. Yes, I can see it now:

:D
Mae, cars have been part of my life since I got my first matchbox toy.
I've since turned it into a career.
If James didn't keep answering me, I wouldn't keep talking about cars. ;)
Since this is the excessive posting thread, how about the weather?
Still hot in TX I see. Lovely, when I visit the inlaws in a few months, I'll probably have to take shorts with me, and keep the AC on.
BTW James, I'd either have an 8 track of Led Zeppelin's Houses Of The Holy, or CCR's Greatest Hits in the deck.
