Well, I sold my Truck on Tuesday and picked this up on Friday.

I've always loved Caddies and have always wanted one. I found this one about a half hour from home and talked it down almost 1,000 bucks. Got a heck of a bargain.

Very nice! does that one have the northstar v8? and has it had headgaskets done in its life? how many miles?

No, it doesn't. I refuse to buy a Northstar, because of the head-gasket issues. I had looked into the Northstars when I was going to buy a 2001 DeVille. This one has the LT1 Chevy 350.

Thank you! I was worried when I saw the Craigslist ad that it was going to be too purple, but it looked much better once I saw it in person. She got a nice wash and wax and an oil change today.

Uh, no. A few years earlier. If it was a 59 for the same amount of money I wouldn't quibble over price. I still might not for this year. I like the Fleetwood with the stainless steel panel behind the wheel. The four door hardtops are still pretty cool to me anyway.

Looks like a '57 to me. The '56 had a single hood fin, the '58 had quad headlights. Soooo...1957 Caddy, final answer.
