Dav, I saw your post about your Nomads and I thought they looked familiar - they look amazing! The distressed leather is stiffer and tougher than the other White's leathers and it holds up beautifully in use. Mine are looking great - I'll need to post some new pics soon.

Art, I just wore the black Nomads today. I will get a pic soon, but they still look really new. The black leather doesn't get beat up looking under normal use.

Beautiful, I really love how much color depth they already exhibit. Burgundy or cordovan is so unique in that way.

My new black John Lofgren engineer boots, purchased through ELMC.

Very very sharp mate. What are the specs on them? They look fantastic.

Cheers, mate! These are expensive but they're worth every penny.

Specs are:

+ 6-7oz Horween black cowhide
+ 10" tall
+ triple & double stitching at stress points
+ mid brown midsole
+ double midsole
+ cuban stacked heel
+ long counter
+ antique brass roller buckles
+ semi-round flat toe
+ Goodyear storm welt
+ Vibram 705 half-sole with 8-figure stitching

These are ELMC branded and marked a UK size 7, which is a US size 8. These are made by John Lofgren and the only difference between these and the John Lofgren branded boots is the sizing and the tag on the inside.

Nice boots. IMO the Wesco harness is one of the best looking harness boots.
