Yep- I reported it to ebay too...but I'd be surprised if they do anything. That's just jaw-dropping. Reported!

This does not look legit to me. The tag is cheap looking and himel always has tag saying what type of leather as far as I know. Quality of stitching is not up to snuff.

It's terrible what ebay allows to go on. It's just not feasible for them to try to do real arbitration, and to protect the market they tend to err on the side of the buyer.Buyers can open a dispute about the stuff they bought for as long as 45 days after receiving the item.
Sorry to hear about your experience. I guess you can't talk about it now, huh. But some of these people... Funniest bit, when this guy msgd me, he says the jacket had a faint smell. Now that he's opening a case, he says it's got a "Heavy Fragrance". There's neither.

Exact same for me as a seller recently - eBay- dayum. I was out the seller fee of $70 usd plus the shipping, another $50 usd. At least the jacket was in perfect shape returned.I recently had a bad experience with PayPal.
Let me be VERY clear about one thing; PayPal will ALWAYS side with the buyer.
They’re crooks.
If you do ever have a case opened against you as a seller, make certain that 100% of the communication between the two parties is conducted within PayPal’s dispute mechanisms.
I provided an extraordinary amount of supporting evidence that the buyer knew exactly what they were buying (including 20, yes 20 hi-res images).
Nevertheless they claimed the jacket was significantly different to what was described (complete BS).
As the ‘supporting evidence’ for my case was screen shots of a conversation held outside of their system, they freely admitted that it was completely ignored.
Case found in buyers favour, jacket returned & I was out of pocket $120 for postage.
Completely crooked system.
Hence, I’d much rather deal with ‘known’ quantities within this forum.
