Since this is an ebay thread, I guess what I need to say should go here as well as anywhere. I've been a member here for almost ten years (this coming March), and I've been selling hats on ebay even longer. I generally assume when I'm dealing with someone on ebay that involves a hat, that they are Fedoralounge members, and if something is odd I usually look up their ebay handle here. I do this so that I can cut ebayers a little slack if I know they are 'playing well with others' here in the lounge. I would hope that you all would do the same with me if you find me to be unpleasant or snarky on ebay.

I'm one of the weirdos who does NOT use his ebay handle here. This isn't an ad, as I only have one hat up for sale, but if you see 'Belltownvintage' on ebay and want to complain, it's me, ScottF.

Man, that is a great hat - but yes, it sold last night on ebay. My head is 7 1/4 and just wouldn't fit unless I pushed the crown in to a Clint Eastwood look, which wasn't bad. It's a shame because I've been looking for that exact hat in a 7 1/4 for over ten years, and it just hasn't happened.

Apparently I bought a pancake slouch hat:

This one's going to take a little work, but the redeeming grace is that this might be bluegrass green and not grey as was listed. I'm seeing hints of green and when I popped it out to quasi-open crown a cloud of dust poofed up in the air. I have a sneaky suspicion it is BG just caked with dust.

Haha. Sorry - I wasn't trying to be secretive. I was using 'runscott' as my ebay i.d. ten years ago, and wasn't sure what I was going to change it to, so picked 'Scottf' for forums.
