Yes, many, many moons ago, my wife and I stayed in a rather dodgy motel in Hammond.

Good memories escaping death.

Been to USS Gary Works both back in it's hay day & the ghost town it pretty much is today. Always drove back into south side Chicago somewhere to spend the night.

Appreciate everyone’s kind words but the search continues! Beautiful example but of course the seller had to mislead on the actual 7 3/8 size being a ‘true 7 1/2’. As much as I like bowlers, I’m hoping a different style Young’s Stetson comes along now.

An eBay victory, this old Disney is very similar to a Stetson I have but the Disney has a shorter brim and it fits better. The Stetson may wind up back on EvilBay sooner or later.
Good for warm weather as a larger hat would be baking my head.
Between the two hats I can't discern any difference in quality between the Stetson and the Disney.
