Just bought this Dobbs miniature with the gift certificate. I once read that the miniatures abound, but the certificates are rare.
Got to watch it, right?I try to steer clear of things like this, but this was just too funny on so many levels.

Mark and Charlie would be angry if I did. Besides, Ignacio isn't Professor Dumbledore. [emoji4]You're not going to have Ignacio size that up are you?

That's true, Max. I have a couple dozen of those things, but no certificates. You're not going to have Ignacio size that up are you?

Very cool piece, Jared. Gérard Sools certainly was a prolific hatter or more correct hat-shop. There are many Sools hats to be found, but it's likely that they were sourced elsewhere and branded for the shop. The ones I've seen were all quality hats. This add is a piece of art though.Just BIN'ed this cool French ad for Sools hat shop (google leads me to believe "maitre chapelier" means "master hatter") advertising Stetson hats. The illustration is done by Cassandre, a Ukrainian born Parisian artist whom apparently did a lot of commercial work. Seller says 1928.
LOVE IT!!!! Be sure to post it in the Stetson Ephemera thread too!!Just BIN'ed this cool French ad for Sools hat shop (google leads me to believe "maitre chapelier" means "master hatter") advertising Stetson hats. There are some out there! Stetson imported by Sools, dated 1938.
An eBay buy from a while back.
