Resistol The Dealer. I really like the telescope crown and curled brim combo. I hope the felt is decent. I think it is pretty modern, but it only cost 39 bucks, so I tood a chance on the felt.
Can anyone opine on its age?

Well, the ebay seller that always says that his hats are from his Dad's collection, I don't remember his name, sawinokour, I think, buys them in Goodwill

I was tracking that 40s 7X and bid too late over at Goodwill, then one shows up as part of “Dad’s collection.” The Goodwill buyer was s******r.

...and dad sure had lots of sizes! No big scandal, just a gripe

I can't quite tell what the ribbon is, or originally was.
The hat looks really nice
I say go black Grosgrain, white trolly and cord, and black/white double bow.
Go with what you know. Don't jump into boaters too fast or you'll end up in white trousers and a red striped jacket.
