The guys bidding a buck here and there just serve to make me mad, LOL. I put in the price of a new custom with 7 seconds to go on the auction. Glad, though, that the 2nd highest bidder stopped closer to $200.... hehehe.

I emailed the seller a couple times about the true color, etc, and he was real quick with replies and more pics. I'm excited to get this one. I've been wanting a nice, older Knox for quite some time. It's not a 40, but this one looks sweet enough to quench my thirst, for awhile anyway...

I zoomed on the sweat and wondered if it was made of cloth, asked the seller, that amongst other questions, and i think the answers got lost in google translate but satin was their answer. Not sure if it will be relisted but anyone come across anything like it?

Fernandez y Roche is a good house. I believe they source their hat bodies from FEPSA. Fernandez y Roche I think are in Sevilla Spain. I also think they or their affiliated vendors supply JJ Hatters house brand and another top notch upscale hatter/hat shop in NYC. But then again I could be FOS.

hmmmm maybe i should have bid, i was thinking, could be wool, unreeded, cloth sweat, floppy. I did ask in english and googles best version of spanish, so er... two different languages, but got a reply that mentioned satin and that's about it.

Just couldn't wait to pull the trigger on it as a $125 BIN. I don't believe it would have lasted very long at that price. I think it's a sweet deal considering a modern Strat is $200+. Came with the Knox box too.
