Love this! The hat model names and related graphics are a hoot. Some of them seem like something @moehawk , @Frunobulax , @hatsRme , or @mmbarnes would come up with.

Just couldn't resist. She has been trying to sell for a couple of weeks now, but she had it listed as a seven, which it is, but a Punti seven! I am chuffed!

Since it came with a Stetson Satellite box, does any one have one or heard of that model? I found an ad a few days ago, it looked like a narrow-brimmed Whippet, but I can't find the ad now.

Follow up is important to success in life. So, following up on your question, Perry, here is a NEW OLD STOCK Satellite. I was trying to find more on this model, but only turned up empty boxes so far.

I could almost see something like that price if it was a really early Whippet in that condition

It's bananas that Whippets particularly 50's era, get the price point they do. Virtually any bound edge fedora from the 40's will be of equal or greater quality. The Andrew Gross in grey I posted in the new hats thread is just one example.

They are great hats but it's insane that a equally proportioned hat from a smaller hat maker can sit ignored on ebay.
