I was watching it tick down and it went from 395 to the final 677 in the last few secs. I'm guessing someone dropped a last ditch effort thousand dollar bid and the other guy's desperation 675 just didn't cut it.
Then wives found out. Now it's back up for auction.

I just scored this Stetson "the Royal Stetson" Derby size 7 5/8 WITH NO OPPONENT'S.....I am a happy camper!!! Even has what appears to be the Origional box!!!!

I was surprised that this Featherweight Champ didn't go for more than $43, especially with free shipping.

I hope the few noted stains come out with a simple naphtha bath, but even if not, it will suit me fine as a casual summer lid.

Well, this hat did not yeald any more clues......mainly becasue I am afraid to look behind the sweat as it is unreeded.......
So I guess it will remain a mystery, at least as long as I own it......

Well, here is a later vintage (late 50's early 60's?) Whippet clone by Adam Hats. Looks to be pristine, and in gray/green too!!
Nice size 7 3/8 (still will not fit my pumpkin, or this would be coming to my house)........
Hope some one here finds it a good home........

M, there is no hard and fast rule here but it is generally agreed upon that no active eBay listings will be posted on this site except for those that first appear in the classifieds section of TFL. Especially those in my 7 3/8 size.

Actually a peek at the first posting in this thread does say that live auctions may be listed.....especially those of interest to many on the Lounge.
