Bien. Muy bien, as a matter of fact.
I am glad you are, too!

Max obviously has impeccable taste.
This should be here when I come home from work tomorrow and it does say DERBY on the sweatband.
Also has some sort of DuPont connection, maybe the ribbon is sewn on with Stren fishing.
I'll call it Old Lunker Lander and use it on fishing trips.

Took a lot of patience with the seller but this one is finally on its way.
Not so good pictures and a title that just said vintage Stetson 6 7/8 probably let this one fall though.
I suppose the patience will be worth it as the seller said... if nothing else you have a great story of getting a Stetson for less than two dollars. View attachment 218743 View attachment 218744 View attachment 218745
Love it. Great ribbon. Here we go again... another tiny box... another just fine hat inside! Sears and Roebuck and Co (Non-Pilgrim) with very cool two tone ribbon and bound edge. Sweet little hat.

Can’t wait for this fab lid to get here and begin restoration treatments.
I hope that’s a copper ribbon and not just brown, but I’ll be happy either way, fo sho!
Be back with upgraded Mallory and pics Tuesday, or so.

Seller says the brim is 2 1/2 wide. Looks 2 3/4 to me. Pics can be deceiving, but still...
again, happy either way!

Since you’re still up...Good get.
Since you’re still up...
You’re the one who won that brown Dobbs homburg a while ago, I’d bet. And if it wasn’t you, I hope it was someone else here at the Lounge. ‘Twas a nice hat, for sure.
I stayed up to bid and lost to a better bidder. Oh well. It’s all fun!
