It certainly is an interesting look.Just had to bump this thread. I surfed into a early century photo that someone had colorized. Maybe Shorpy, or just a random Google search, dunno where I got it. This hat looks to have lines that are classic, harking back to the turn of the century hats in these fabulous Stetson ads. The image deserves study.

I wouldn't wear this one on a daily basis, but I may see another historic hat in the works. Now I have to connect this look to a image that connects it to Oregon Agricultural College around the 1910s. I need this like a hole in the head, but my inner geek is rumbling...It certainly is an interesting look.

Looking very closely at the shirt and tie as well as the very heavily creased lightweight trousers...this appears to be a contemporary photo made to look old......cuffs and buttons on coat do not ring true either....tie for sure is constructed wrong for the apparent time-frame....Just had to bump this thread.
