Although my postings have been a bit light as of late, I too would only be more than happy to cover the cost of a bit of that bandwidth by way of a check. In the meantime, I'm ready to buy that calendar whenever it rolls off the presses!

I fell short on that one. We will have it ready for '07

Any hints to what the calendar will be? I'd love to see one that reproduces those wonderful vintage ads for fedoras some of you have posted.

While I am not a fan of conspicuous advertising, perhaps the gear could be placed in a more prominent place on the site. I had never thought to look under classifieds for these items.

Perhaps the site could also become an affiliate for a *short* list of items of interest to members. For example, vintage movies, prints, CDs, etc. Some polls for these items could determine, say, members' opinion of the five or ten best items in these categories. Newbies could get a quick idea of things that might interest them, but aren't familiar with, and the site could collect a few dollars.
