So much depends on how much time do you spend to shape and place it just right so that it stands.
But, as you can see from my profile picture... Yes, yes it does.

Very true! You can see that the Chopper I posted above was already slouching its way into a fall when I took the photo. Some of them have real staying power, though, when that LW was new, it could stand on its own for hours at a time.
