OK - thumbs up from me for the first episode of Torchwood - Miracle Day.

Slight niggles: how many surgeons wear mini skirts and 4" heels to do their rounds? How many CIA agents wear 6" heels?

Gwen's baby is about the most adorable thing ever.

Honestly, I think she kills the Doctor ... not the real one, but the doppelganger that probably survived the explosion a couple of episodes ago.

Ah, now I hadn't thught of bringing in the ganger, that is a distinct possibility. I wonder too.... what if it's the ganger that survives? They established that, to all intents and purposes, the ganger is the same person, so what if that stuff could replicate a timelord's biology? Hmmn.

I would imagine it's Rory that she kills - her reaction to meeting him was odd to say the least. They've been spending a lot of time implying that it's The Doctor they're talking about when in fact they're referring to Rory (that speech at the beginning of the last episode where Amy is talking to her baby about a man who is a lot older than he looks etc) and a lot of time saying that The Doctor isn't a good man.

x

Yeah, that's my feeling. It could well be the Doctor, but it jut seems so obvious. As long as they do it well with a credible story I don't mind either way: the biggest of RTD's many sins against Who was to make Rose BadWolf: stupid idea, stupid story, poorly done..... the only possible reason for it is that he just wanted something no-one would guess. Just because no-one sees it coming, that doesn't mean it's good. See also: Life on Mars, USA, ending thereof.

Jinkies, when did that screen? I heard nothing about it being on.

Ah, right. So they haven't stuffed it up with the location shift, then? I was kinda hoping Jack would have an entirely new team. Not that I didn't like the last lot, but it seemed to make more sense with the plot that it was time for them all to move on. At least they haven't included the excruciating Mickey and Martha.

With it being on hiatus right now, I have not been able to see the last few episodes. Every time I'mat my moms or sisters on a Saturday, Doctor Who is never on and I can't find anywhere to watch them online. Very irksome, although I did read the episode summaries on line lol
Yes, I was a little suprised that River is Rory and Amy's daughter...she looks like she's mixed with differ nationalities to me. Must be the Time Lord markers from being concieved on the Tardis.
As for Torchwood, darn it!!! I was hoping since Starz picked it up it would be going straight to Netflix, since Netflix has a starz channel :(

If Arthur Darvill is really leaving, I'm kind of sad. Aside from Donna Noble, he's probably my favorite companion of the New Who. And Rory has indeed been killed enough, if they do it again, it may be the final nail in the coffin that makes me abandon "The Moffat Show."
