Which one did you order Tony? I ordered the double black “Johnny Cash”.

I wish this had double black denim with dark brown “Sherpa” lining... the little bit of extra contrast would be nice.

Every black Sherpa I’ve seen has black lining; doesn’t really have the same effect as the indigo denim jackets with white Sherpa lining....

I think I'm good...LOL. I'm a sick ba***rd. And a sick ba***rd is going to do what a sick ba***rd does. But seriously I think i'm good.
Ahh, Ton you’re not sick, just s searcher. And a searcher gotta search.
I personally like this year’s seasonal search better that last year’s suede ones!
The black on black is the winner in my book. Although.....nvm!

Long term this jacket will age very well. Johansson... not so well.

Lol. Yeah well I probably won’t either. It would be a coin toss. Definitely some type of toss. Maybe a coin would be involved?
Either way that IH Sherpa lined jacket already escaped my grasp once due to my own ignorance of both the denim itself and the kavorka of the trucker pattern.

I think I have better odds at having an intimate relationship with Scarlett Johanssen then I do finding that jacket in my size and to be honest I’m not sure which I’d Prefer.

I don't know, man... Scarlett from Lost in Translation and I'd happily give up this jacket. And just get another since we're already in Japan.

if there is/are still another textile jackets I want, then perhaps
a camel colored cord type 3 of which I will bring it to the people where I ordered my leather jacket to patch the collar with closely colored leather to make it stiffer and longer lasting
and
green duck canvas type 2 or type 1,

but no shearling sherpa just unrealistic for my climate

And I want a 70s style hazelnut-brown Cord type III. :) Would be damn good for turtleneck pullover!

Easy choice - the jacket. Of the two, it'd get me in marginally less trouble at home. ;)

Now there's a thought - "Yes, dear, I'm sorry I spent hundreds on yet another jacket, but it was either that or I would have had to sleep with Scarlet Johansen, and I didn't think that would be fair to you...." :p

I already have a couple of denim jackets, the same old trucker style, and was in the market for a different denim jacket. I scored this cafe racer off of eBay, new with tags. It's an Andrew Marc, the Denim & Leathers brand. I have a couple of Andrew Marc leather jackets, so I thought it should be good quality. It arrived, and I was impressed. Very high quality, has a liner, and is padded in the shoulders, elbows, waist, and kidney areas. You could almost use it to ride a bike. It has some weight to it as well. I liked it so much that I searched for more online, even at the Andrew Marc website, but apparently, it's out of production.

wow there is extra panel on the side to make hand warmers in line with the seam, cool mod on the pattern, does it affect the fit to be more slim fitting around the waist too?

It's not that slim fitting, the cut is more boxy but not in the oversized way at all. It's just not as shaped as new Levi's, for example. It fits super cool. Every seam is where it's supposed to be. The inside pockets are huge.
