Anyone ever hear of a leather trucker with full action back? Seems logical as truckers tend to have lines where they would be in a Mc jacket.

Wrangler did a model with shoulder gussets. Also, there seems to be a lot of these Polo RRL denim jackets (in different versions; regular, with blanket or fleece lining, with or without hand-warmer pockets, etc.) on eBay though I don't know if they're styling it after anything in particular or if the design is their own.

My Polo (Authentic Dungarees) seems modeled after the Lee trucker and I can't find anything, outside of branding that make it uniquely Polo. Other Polo models I've handled were the same.

My one and only. I usually stay away from Polo these days with the exception of RRL, if the price is right. Just too much branding. Found this Authentic Dungaree model; how many different lines do they have? Branding was subtle enough and the jacket was inexpensive. Picked it up almost two years ago. Denim is fairly heavy with a cotton blanket lining and quilted sleeves. Wasn't crazy about it being pre-distressed but it wasn't overdone. Weighs just under three lbs.

Looks like one of the old Polo jackets. Looks really nice quality. They closed down the Denim & Supply so they only have two producing repro styles now. The problem with Polo is they started using inferior materials. Moving production to save costs is not a huge issue for me but using inferior materials too? I used to buy a lot of Polo products but not anymore because of that.

This is an extremely nice jacket. Love the contrast between the denim and the fun blanket lining. The colors are just so cool. Just awesome.

Remember Me ?

Well I am back in the denim game these days. I had great experiences at the GAP of all places this holiday season. I purchased several slim fit jeans of very good quality for $30 a piece. So much nicer than some priced at $100 at other stores.

I also treated myself to an Iron Heart jacket/jeans combo. Compared to Ciano Farmer :

Ciano Farmer offers a 23oz selvedge which is superior to the Iron Heart 21oz selvedge IMO. Side by side the Ciano feels bullet proof.

Iron heart does offer 25oz jeans but I haven't felt those yet. I also purchased the 21oz denim jacket.

To be honest the customer service and fit of the Iron Hearts are so much better than the Ciano's but I was underwhelmed by the wow factor of the 21oz IH selvedge. Don't get me wrong they feel like top quality denim but not for the prices they are charging.

I am loving the look though. They have nice details on their products.

Customer Service at IH is TOP NOTCH ! They really spend time with you to make sure you get the best fitting products.

Can't get much where I live. You guys are lucky.

I have been trying to find a decent fitting denim jacket since a vintage GWG jacket I picked up at Value Village, had given up the ghost about 20 years ago. It probably cost me about $5 back then since no one was after old denim in those days. Thick denim, snap closures and a beautiful inigo fade. Man, I really miss that jacket.

I've been suffering with new, ill-fitting Levis crap since then. I don't even know where to begin with the Japanese stuff. Most denim jackets have sleeves that are too long so maybe some Japanese brands may fit me better.

I've been after a Levi's sherpa jacket for quite a while, finally bought one two weeks, made in USA and all and it ended up being such a disappointment in both fit and material I still feel bad about buying it. I mean, it's not a crappy jacket by any definition and the denim is pretty heavy but I don't know, it's just so bad compared to Iron Heart. Then again, it's not just that... My ancient sherpa denim jacket, don't even know the brand, it's so much better it's not even funny and I found it next to a dumpster!

I have a blanket lined Levi's that's also a very nice jacket. So they're not bad at all. But I'll stick to IH.

Levis is very hit or miss depending on which country the item was made. Levis from ***Egypt is notorious for bad quality. The best Levis denim comes from Mexico IMO. I've seen some decent Levis truckers around but you need to look and feel. Some quality even differs from on the same rack.

Agree with the above poster IH makes a solid jacket albeit expensive.
