Dating a Pritzker G-1

I recently traded a couple of repro jackets for a Pritzker 55J14 which is in superb condition.

I know that this spec began in 1947 but want to check if this is that early.

I can’t post any pics at the moment but here are some details:

Spec Label – does not have the size integrated in the label. It was beneath the spec label in the centre (has long since gone).

Zip – Blackened Conmar which is triple marked (stopper box, puller and the vertical bar of the puller which I have never seen before).

USN stencilled under collar in centre.

Any opinions welcomed.
