I want to find this woman, or man, or corporation and hug, then punch them. She/he/they make such neat looking, retro shoes.

I'm digging these in silver.

Off again for another home equity loan!

Marc Jacobs is a big fat jerk!

Here's why...

3832-431477-p.jpg
$568.95

6220-431476-p.jpg
Same as above.

6628-431482-p.jpg
$563.95

6220-431491-p.jpg
$453.95

1396-371827-p.jpg
$363.95

I got too depressed to go further on zappos.com, even though stuff got "cheaper" in the Marc Jacobs list.

I love and hate him.

Well, to be fair, I was in their "Couture" section, drooling over those Marc Jacobs. And that man is never cheap.

I imagine that these are limo shoes, or some equivalent; I can't imagine them as daily-wear, unless I spent my days reclining on a chaise longue eating bon-bons, or shopping at Scottsdale Fashion Square. Because if you got one nasty smudge or a nick... egads! End of the world!

Or, I forgot, the dancefloor at the Wrigley. They should be safe there, if he's a good dancer...

I'm not daring enough to go into the coture section. It just depresses me that there are shoes I simply cannot justify spending that kind of money on. But in generaly lately I've found that even the shoes on sale aren't going for any less than $90. I know that they have shoes that are still fairly decently priced but for the most part my days of finding great shoes there at reasonable prices are fading away...

Anyone know how Faryl Robin sizing runs? Oh so tempted by the red... Maybe a new laptop can wait a bit... lol

The sizing is on the small side. Normally, I either wear a 8.5 or 9 depending on the shoe. I got a pair of size 9 Faryl Robins and I'm glad I did. An 8.5 would have been too small. If you are between sizes, I would definitely order the larger size.

how about these?

They scream '1940s' at me. And the fact that they're made in wool felt, hey, wouldn't that make them appropriate for a war-years impression?

Now, for my zoot suits, when I'm wearing the zoot 'skirts' (don't laugh too hard, they actually look pretty good and get the whistles), these shoes are my holy grail, and I'm lobbying the husband to get them for me for my birthday:

They're dance shoes made in Argentina, and I'd take them over to my cobbler to have a street sole put on because sadly, I do not dance worthy of needing dance shoes. ;)

-d, just got two new pairs of peep-toe shoes for summer. :)

I didn't see the first pair in Target yesterday ? I'll have to go back and look. The brown ones I have and love.

I have the brown ones too and I adore them. But those black ones....any leads anyone?? I really want those shoes!

EDIT: I found them! Online though, it says they're new, so maybe they just haven't hit the local stores yet....they're called Becca Platform Pumps...I feel a trip to target coming on...
