Cute Vintage-y Shoes

A question for any of the ladies that own faryl robin shoes...

How does the sizing run? Are they true to size, smaller, larger?

I'm thinking on purchasing a pair of faryl robin peep toes, but sizing in peep toes can be tricky for me. I either buy an 8.5 or a 9, depending on the shoe. A lot of times, the 9 is too long in the toe and because of the peep you can see a big space between my toes and the peep. But sometimes if I order an 8.5, even though my toes fit in the peep, they are not wide enough for my toes and can be painful to wear. Basically, I have short and wide feet in the toe area.

After reading reviews on zappos, some folks stated that the shoes run on the small side. I'm thinking if I order an 8.5, it would probably be too tight for my toes and that I'd be better off ordering a 9. Can anyone share their expertise or give any advise?

No expertise to share but BeBopBaby reminded me that I'm desparately trying not to buy these Faryl Robin shoes for the Boston event--even though they would look perfect with my dress and are too cute. I love them so but $150. I really, really shouldn't.

I really wanted to order these in black, but Zappos is out of size 9s and I can't find them anywhere else. So sad. Anyone know where I can find a 9?

Have you seen the new sardi wedge?

Her shoes are exquisite! I hate to spend that much money on shoes, but the attention to detail and designs of the Faryl Robin shoes are starting to make me change my mind. I can't find anything similar for cheaper.

Sorry, I haven't seen them anywhere else in a 9. I'm slowly being won over to the quality vs quantity idea too, but I recently bought a pair of Fluevogs (that I LOVE--heart shaped heel, squee!) so my shoe budget is a bit tight right now.

Love the fluvogs!

I'm ticked about the faryl robin mary janes. Two days ago, they had them in size 9 on zappos. I check today because I want to order them, and they are out of size 9. And I can't find them anywhere else.

Thanks for the compliments on the shoes. What's even more shocking is that they are really comfortable despite the 3" heel. I was prepared to suffer for fashion but glad I didn't have to in this case!

One of the major bonuses of quality vs. quantity! I have problems with the ligaments in my feet and a quality shoe vs. a quantity shoe can make a world of difference in foot pain.

But I am still green with envy over you gals that can wear any shoes you want! I'm really limited with what kind of shoes I can wear anymore, and I've heard such good things about the comfort of Faryl Robin shoes that I want to give them a try. It's next to impossible to find a comfort shoe that is also stylish!

Fluevogs are a neccessary expense even to this poor gal, although I haven't bought a pair in over a year. ;) I love your Fluevogs, imoldfashioned. BTW, did you keep the Two Lips Sayah peep-toe pump from endless.com? http://www.endless.com/dp/B000IBPBV4/ref=rsl_1-0/?fromPage=mythings

P.s. Try as I might, I can't upload the picture of my latest shoes to Photobucket or otherwise simply post the picture. anyway, I returned 2 cheaper pairs and splurged on these cuties yesterday, which arrived today http://www.endless.com/dp/B000I4VFBG/104-5073089-3335108?ref_=ord_crt_shr&fromPage=cart&ts=84951 I'll try them on later, hope they're not too big. Too cute!

Funny you should ask Begin...

I love those shoes but I got a 9 and they are too small for me to do anything but stand in one place and pose. Breaks my heart 'cause they're adorable, especially with the black patent finish. I think they'd fit someone who wears an 8/8.5 fine. I'm planning to list them on the Classifieds for what I paid for them $14.00 + postage.

I'll do that tonight, but in the meantime, if anyone's interested PM me.

I think I'm completely obsessed with Faryl Robin shoes now. I may have to make another purchase soon.
