Cute Vintage-y Shoes

Fayva had a chain of shoe stores, through the 70's. Similar to Payless, all the shoes were out on racks. A lot of them were made in Brazil, I remember the Brazil ones ran pretty small. It was a hard place to find your style in your size, the shoes were a bit random.

Thanks for the info crwritt! They actually are just a bit small! lol I am going to stuff my foot in them anyway! ;)

I'm just remembering all the times I shopped there as a teenager, being frustrated when the really cute shoes, supposedly in my size, were too small for me.

I found a pair of these Kork-ease sandals the other day at our local discount outlet http://www.onlineshoes.com/womens-k...adtrack=gpa&term=Women's+Kork-Ease+Ava&offer=

My size, and only $30! I had a pair of these same shoes as a teenager in the 70's.

What a coincidence, I have these in black and am currently selling them! I only wore them once, they don't work on my feet, sadly. I do love the way they look though. Great find crwitt!

I was just looking at a black pair on eBay- can you tell me how they fit? I'm a 6.5, and the pair on eBay are 7. If the shoes run a tad small... it might work for me.

They run a little small and a little narrow. I wear a 9 normally, the ones I got are size 9 US and are marked 40.5 EU.They are comfy but snug. You may want to get measurements.

I won these two shoes back in March. The white ones are a cheap off brand while the black ones are Poetic License. They look so good in person. When I dress up I am going to take a picture of me in one of these and post it!

The white pair are very cute, they look like nice soft leather.
But, OMG! The black pair! I ♥ them.

I saw these http://www.deliberateweb.co.uk/johnsonshoes/pages/ladies-wedges/JLW1011.htm and love the yellow. I was wondering if anyone had ever purchased anything from them? And how the sizes run?

They look a lot like the Re Mix wedges. Different, though. I remember a thread about this shoemaker, he was getting the shoe parts from the same maker as Re Mix, so they fit similarly. If this is still the case, I may be able to help a little.I have the Re Mix Gloria, size 9. It fits nicely, and I usually wear 9 or 91/2.

If you can ignore the zipper on the inside, these boots by BeautiFeel look almost Victorian. I rather like them. There are also other vintagey styles by this brand at Endless.com, such as this one and this one. Even the heel shape is right!

I came up with a random page of boots, but put beautifeel boots in the search and found them. Yes, they are gorgeous, if you can ignore the price tag.

Weird my internet still won't open it so I just googled them and they do have some gorgeous boots.... I just bought my car new shoes (aka tires) for less that they all cost thought.... wow sticker shock!! For that price those suckers better be molded for my feet only!!
